Santa will once again be here on Saturday, December 21st from 11:00 - 1:30pm and we hope you’ll join us for your complimentary photo with Santa and also make a stop by our Hot Chocolate and Cookie Stand to support children with cancer and help fund much needed pediatric cancer research. We have teamed up with the EllaStrong Foundation and Ari’s Bears for this event and our goal is to raise $1,000, which will purchase 50 bears for Ari’s Bears to be given to children fighting cancer and other diseases in local hospitals. In addition, these funds will go to support the important work being done for pediatric cancer research.

Story Behind Ari’s Bears: Ella and Ariella met through their cancer journey as they were both diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in 2017 at the age of 9 and treated in Baltimore hospitals. Ariella was a beautiful dancer - it was her passion in life. She endured 17 rounds of chemo and extensive limb salvage surgery, however, sadly she relapsed and passed away due to complications from a bone marrow transplant his past May. While battling her illness, Ariella always wanted to help other children and came up with the idea of making bears to bring to children in the hospital, which is how Ari’s Bears was born. Ariella’s parents continue to honor her legacy through Ari’s Bears by giving bears to as many children as possible in hospitals and also funding pediatric cancer research. Ella, who is currently NED (No Evidence of Disease) also continues to give back to the pediatric cancer community at every opportunity. She will once again be working our Hot Chocolate and Cookie Stand to help honor her friend Ariella and support Ari’s Bears.
